Memorial Day Weekend

This past weekend our family went on our first ever Family Road Trip! We had a lot of fun visiting family and friends, and eatting at some great resturaunts like Tucanos and Sam Hawk. Caleb did really well and we had a lot of fun.

Win a Date Contest

This is a fantastic idea for winning a date with a hot guy. Go to www.seriouslysoblessed.blogspot.com and check it out. While you are there be sure to vote. My friend Heather S. is one of Steve's possible dates and she is a great girl --hint, hint vote for Heather S!

I Can Help

For a long time now Caleb has tried to help feed himself. It started by jamming his hands into his mouth in the way of the bottle. Then their was intense study and staring at the bottle. And now we have successful hand coordination for holding the bottle! He still needs help burping. Thanks Dad!

Happy Mommy, Happy Baby

After church today we thought we would get some pictures of Caleb in his outfit from Kirsten and his shoes from "Grandma." We were having such a great time taking pictures that we kept on shooting. Enjoy the spontaneous photo opt. below.

3 Months and Growing

Just a quick update on Caleb. He is 3-months-old now and as of this morning he weighs 15.6 lbs. -He's healthy and growing fast. He rocks back and forth on his back and occasionally ends up on one side or the other. He also is talking more with Ahhh and Oooo sounds and slept through the night for the first time this past weekend!

He loves to lick his blankets and toys and is learning about texture, grabbing on to things and splashing in the bath-tub. He loves to snuggle, but also likes his hands to be free. We love him very much and are glad he's part of our family. :)

Whatcha Doing Mom?

Caleb makes the cutest smiles, coos, etc. -But whenever I bring the camera over all he wants to do is check it out and figure out what I am doing. :)

Water Baby

Many of you may not know, but when Caleb was born he had some very tight neck muscles. Because of this we've been doing some light physical therapy, etc. He has made great progress and should be just fine.

Part of his physical therapy involves swimming in a nice warm pool. So, Caleb got to go swimming for the first time yesterday! He was quiet the natural and floated very well.

In fact, he relaxed so much and kicked so good that we got a pass so that our whole family can go often! We are very excited to have more great swimming experiences with our little water baby. :)

T-I-Double Grrrrr

At about 2 months Caleb really started to enjoy his Winnie the Pooh bouncy chair. He especially loves to try to touch the hanging tiger rattle. We took a picture of him in his bouncy chair when he was almost a week old and then one this past week at his 3 month mark. It's funny because you can see just how big he's gotten. He has almost doubled his birth weight and is very smart.
