Last Night
So, one of the questions people ask Aaron and I a lot is: "How is Caleb sleeping?" and "Does he sleep through the night yet?"
And to be quiet honest he really does do pretty good. He usually wakes up once, sometimes twice a night and occasionally he even sleeps all night, which is always appreciated.
But ... Last Night ... something was off. He woke up at 9, 9:30, 10, 12:30, 2:00, 4:30, and 6. Man was I a tired Mama. And poor Aaron, who had spent about 4 hours last night working on sanding and re-staining our deck (pictures to come in a later post) in addition to putting in over-time all week for a special project at work --probably could have used one of those surprise-sleep-through-the-night moments from Caleb. Oh, well ... Welcome to Parenthood, Right?

A Color of His Own
This weekend we have been having fun with Aaron's Dad. We went shopping on Friday and Caleb got this new board-book from Barnes and Noble. It is really cute and I love the graphics. Caleb also likes it and got so excited when I was reading it to him that we read it twice.Lately Caleb has been especially interested in helping turn the pages and occasionally we will let him lick his books. He's a cute and inquisitive little boy.

Scuba Fun
Well, I am back from my trip. It was pretty fun.
We dove in various spots around San Clemente Island off the southern coast of California.
Below are some pictures. I have more so I will probably do a 2nd post sometime.
A little bit cramped at night:

But it was still good.
Here is me just after jumping out of the boat:

Underwater shot:

This guy we found just hanging around:

It was cool swimming through the kelp forests:

We tried getting directions to the "EAC" but didn't have to much luck getting an answer:

Found a meeting of the minds:

Batman came for a swim: (this is a Bat Ray)

This guy wanted to get past us undetected:

But "Eye" spotted him:

We did see some sharks. But the camera was having issues at the time. They were only Leopard sharks so they weren't dangerous.
I have a couple of videos but they keep erroring out....I will try them later.
