Wii Fit

Last night after many a trip down the Wii games isle --we found it! Wii Fit! Completely sold out online and vacant on Target, Wal-Mart and Best Buy shelves for quite some time now. 2 packages and we were able to buy one!

I have to admit I was sceptical. A Wii game for exercise, but I have now seen the light. It is really challenging. It made me a little Mii that was the size I really am, told me my body mass index numbers, helped me set goals and talked to me about improving body balance.

Of course, being pregnant I had to have a goal to gain weight, but hey it's still fun. It's going to track my weight, muscle control and body balance. Plus, it is going to let me unlock more games and exercises as I put in more playing time. -Very Fun. :)

Cutie Pies

So, I made the coolest descovery last Saturday while Aaron and I were grocery shopping. :) Cutie Pie miniture fruit filled pies. The are just like the ones us kids would pick up on our late night newspaper route with Dad. -The only difference is they are about 2/3 the size so as an adult I can feel better about having one every once in a while.

Anyway, I guess it's just one of those things that ties you to a memory from when you were young.

Dad, if your reading this. I love you. Thanks for the fun times on our paper route.

Confessions of a Midnight Blogger

Ok, ok so maybe it's not quiet that bad. But, I do have this tendency of blogging when I really should be getting ready for bed.

It's that time when Aaron pulls out his book and happily begins to read. Unfortunately for me, I read enough at work and could think of a million other things I'd rather do. -I think I would even enjoy cleaning the bathroom rather than read before bed.

If you are one of my faithful blog readers you would know that being an English Lit major, and an Editorial Assistant equal a boycott on reading. -Well at least anything of analytical substance.

Of course, magazines, children's books, blogs, emails and an occasional Internet article do tempt my reading curiosity. But I'd say, for now --that is about it.

Yep ... I would definitely choose cleaning the bathroom over reading.

Quick Trip Home

Last weekend Aaron and I made a quick trip home to visit my family and to see some High School friends. -It definately has been too long.

While we were there we enjoyed some really great steak, potato salad and corn on the cob! It was so good.

Unfortunately my family didn't fatten me up enough and I was told I have lost some more weight since my last Doctor's visit. -However, the baby is doing great and we got to hear the heart beat for the first time. :)

At our next Doctor's visit we should be able to find out if it's a boy or a girl. Also, hopefully we'll be able to get a video of the Ultra sound.

As for work ... well one word discribes it all --Crazy. I am definately busy now and probably will be until Baby Bly comes and I get to be busy in a different way. :)

Lots and Lots of Email

So, I was correct the Deadline and the Threat-of-the-Deadline have caused mass panic and emailing. My work in-box is FULL. So, full that there are multiple pages and attachments on each email. -I love my job. :)

The Nothing

So, have you ever seen the movie The NeverEnding Story? -If so, you would know that the evil character is called The Nothing. Devouring everything in its path and leaving a large void of nothingness.

That's how I feel about this day. I work for a little bit and then ... nothing. Then I get super excited to find another small project, finish and then ... nothing. I even have volunteered to help other people with their work in order to have more small projects, but still ... nothing.

The crazy part about it all is that supposedly I should be extremely busy right now.

I have come to only one conclusion from all this nothingness ... I am just too fast and too good at my job. :)

Hopefully after the evil character called The Deadline hits on Friday. I will get a swarm of sad sorry please accept my late work calls and emails. Which I will firmly scold ... and then be elated at the opportunity to conquer The Nothing. :)

BEWARE!

Look at my husband looking so cute and innocent. Making me dinner in our now box-free kitchen.

Little do we know what mischief he's written on the fridge until we look below. :)

BEWARE! Franky is coming. :)

-By the way, to anyone not include on our little inside joke. My family has decided our baby's name is Franky. -Purely for harasement and teasing purposes. -We are not naming our baby Franky. :)

Yesterday we went out and got some really cute board books at Barnes and Noble. And also found some cute ducky clothes for newborn and 9 months. Both of them say "Mommy Loves Me."
-We are getting very excited.

Huckleberry Picking

Yesterday Aaron and I got to go Huckleberry picking with my Grandparents. It was so much fun.

We picked for about 2 1/2 hours and found lots of good berries.

I especially love going with Grandma and Grandpa because they know all the really good spots and bring their 4-wheelers so we can get back into the berries easier.

When we got home I cleaned the berries and divided them up for easy milkshake making. But the best part was having some on my cereal this morning. Delicious!

-This was Aaron's first time huckleberry picking. He enjoyed it, but isn't planning on leaving his desk job for a professional career in berry picking. Lol. :)

Memories

Come out, come out, wherever you are! Let's reminisce!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

My Favorite Books

So, my absolute favorite children's books are the Pigeon books by Mo Williams! This year they came out with The Pigeon Wants a Puppy! -Which I didn't even know about.

Aaron found it at Barnes and Noble and bought it for me! It is so great.

Now, I just have to add the Pigeon board books to our collection. That way our baby will be able to enjoy them too.
