This past weekend I had a business trip in Boise, ID. I worked hard and came home with sore feet, but it was oh so good to be home.
Aaron had got me roses and a chocolate bar I've been craving. Plus, he had cleaned the bathrooms, washed the dishes, and even made me dinner on Sunday. Isn't he the best! -I missed him tons, so it was really nice to know he had missed me too.

Saturday
Today has been a nice, lazy kind of day.
It has been cool and rainy. And the leaves on some of the trees are starting to yellow.
Aaron had to work for a few hours this morning so I got to go shopping! I got Caleb some Dr. Seuss board books and 2 outfits. I got Aaron a new work shirt and a new tie for church. And then ... I had to go shopping for me.
It's much funner shopping for Aaron and Caleb. :) But I knew I would be in trouble if I didn't find some clothes that fit. So, I went into our local maternity store and actually found some cute things.
You would think that if you were shopping at the maternity store and if you were choosing the right size that you wouldn't have any trouble finding clothes. However, this is not the case. Each time I go I try to grab anything in my size, and then I find half of it fits, another fourth fits but looks dreadful and then there is the 3-4 shirts remaining, with the lucky chance of maybe one pair of paints that fit and look good.
Today was the lucky kind of day with a pair of new work pants, 3 work shirts and 1 for home.
After shopping for just 2 hours total. I was exhausted and heading home. But at least I will have clothes for work now. :)
This afternoon we watched a movie, played a board game, ate home-made cookies and worked on laundry. Aaron has been reading so of course I am blogging. Lol. I did read for about 3 minutes and wrote in my journal. :)

So, I Lied
So, I lied. It's too exciting to keep the Boy/Girl status of our baby a secret.
We are having a baby boy!

Life is Good
We are enjoying our new home. And love it when we have company. There are still a few boxes here and there, but we are making good head way on organizing our stuff.
As for our baby. Well we think Baby Bly is growing well. I haven't really gained weight, but at least I am maintaining. Supposedly our baby is the size of a bananna right now (10-inches long from head to foot). We get to go to the Dr. this week and have an ultra-sound.
For all of you anxious baby fans - you will just have to wait a little bit longer. We have decided to keep the Boy/Girl status a secret until Thanksgiving time. That's when our family is coming and we are excited to show them the video we should get at the Dr.'s office.
Life is good and we are very blessed.

Me - the Royal Brat
So, after pushing prodding and basically being a royal brat. I have almost finished a major catalog deadline. I have 320 plus products organized in this particular catalog. Along with the matching pictures, pricing, sizes, applications, descriptions, etc.
In short, it has been a lot of work.
This is the second of 2 large catalogs I work on, and the submission deadline was last Friday Sept. 5th. For all those late, last minute pity calls I responded with a get it here by Wed the 10th or get left out. Harsh, but necessary. Kind of like making a kid do an unwanted homework assignment.
So, here's the kicker. Now that I am basically finished and thought I had to turn stuff in to my Editor tomorrow I discover ... that my deadline isn't until the 18th. Lol. I have my work done a week early and have been such a brat to everyone to get submissions in "ON TIME".
And trust me, there is no way I am telling the sales department they have another week to submit products. They would have a royal canary. Lol.
I am so bad. -Unintentionally, but still very bad.

Tacos
Tonight Aaron made tacos for dinner! We love tacos. It's one of those meals that we both like and never get tired of. Of, corse Aaron leaves the peas, cottage cheese and tomatoes off of his tacos, but I am not a big fan of the salsa or onions he likes on his. So, I guess to each his own. -They are still wonderful no mater what we decide to put on them.
Another fun thing we did tonight was going to see our friends new baby girl. She was so cute. We are excited to be parents.

Fall
We turned on our heater Monday night. Nothing too high, just to 50 degrees in-case it got that cold, which I believe it did since a lot of peoples gardens got a nip of fall frost.
Aaron loves it when it's cool, but his poor wife wakes up shivering so I am really glad that we turned on the heat. Plus, snugly PJ's are a must this time of year.
As for work ... well with the fall comes lots and lots of work. Which of course is great! My first show is at the end of the month and then I have another one in October. Time sure does fly.
We are slowly getting our house organized and unpacking the boxes. We know have a pretty substantial library of books. My friend Susie would be in 7th heaven. Lol.

Wii Fit
Last night after many a trip down the Wii games isle --we found it! Wii Fit! Completely sold out online and vacant on Target, Wal-Mart and Best Buy shelves for quite some time now. 2 packages and we were able to buy one!
I have to admit I was sceptical. A Wii game for exercise, but I have now seen the light. It is really challenging. It made me a little Mii that was the size I really am, told me my body mass index numbers, helped me set goals and talked to me about improving body balance.
Of course, being pregnant I had to have a goal to gain weight, but hey it's still fun. It's going to track my weight, muscle control and body balance. Plus, it is going to let me unlock more games and exercises as I put in more playing time. -Very Fun. :)

Cutie Pies
So, I made the coolest descovery last Saturday while Aaron and I were grocery shopping. :) Cutie Pie miniture fruit filled pies. The are just like the ones us kids would pick up on our late night newspaper route with Dad. -The only difference is they are about 2/3 the size so as an adult I can feel better about having one every once in a while.
Anyway, I guess it's just one of those things that ties you to a memory from when you were young.
Dad, if your reading this. I love you. Thanks for the fun times on our paper route.
